A short introduction.
I am a freelance photographer based in New York City. I was born in Chongqing, China, and trained in classical Western and traditional Chinese dance. I performed overseas for a number of years, during which time I gained exposure to the subjects that would most strongly influence my work today – people at the intersection of both traditional and modern culture, and the environments in which they live. In a way, I am also at the same intersection, having spent my childhood in China and most of my adult life abroad, thus having exposure to what could be considered both very traditional and very modern environments. After retiring from the stage, I now focus full-time on photography.
My contact information is below. I welcome your comments about my work and the site. Thank you!
